Florida, Will, more snow, and the countdown begins.

For Christmas I got an awesome gift, a trip with Evan to Florida from his family! It was so so nice, the weather was perfect and we had a total blast. We stayed with his Grandma who is so incredibly nice! We relaxed, swam in the pool, rode bikes, and went out to eat. And we caught three fish! Actually Evan caught three fish and I took pictures of them.

This is the beautiful beach we got to walk almost every day!

So when I came home, Will was there to greet me. He had apparently learned a new trick and that the bookshelf in the wall had a lot of tasty books. This is him looking at us while were on the computer. I felt like he was going to just start talking to us!

This has been Will's first winter and it's official, he LOVES the snow. We went outside this morning and played in it for a while.

Tomorrow night we're supposed to get a lot more of snow, I've heard a high of 17 inches. Just when it has started to melt. I've been trying to get most of the things I need to do over the next couple of days done because I know I won't be able to do them Wednesday and I wanted to go skiing later this week.

Today marks 10 days until I leave for Dublin. It is still very surreal. Evan flew out about two hours ago and that also seems SO weird to me. I've got a rather long list to complete and also a ton (literally 2,000 pounds) of laundry. I am determined to bring as much stuff as 50 lbs per bag will allow. I have one huge (29 inch tall) bag and one smaller (25 inch) bag. Also a backpack and one yet-to-be-determined carry-on.

I have to get a converter/adapter for the plugs and I actually think that's just about it. I ordered some Euro today, changed my pin to 4 digits and bought luggage straps.

Anyway I still don't feel like I am leaving the country for 4 months. I don't think it's going to hit me until I get on the plane.

I'm going to attempt and make a passport cover right now, I'll let you know how it comes out!
